Hilary Duff quits movies to write books

She’s tried her hand in basically everything from Disney shows to music and acting. She’s through with it all.

A new path for the newly-engaged 23 year old star Hilary Duff is penning young adult novels and non-fiction advice books for teens.

Her debut novel, Elixir, is set for October 2010 release by Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing. The book will follow a super talented photojournalist Clea Raymond in her global traveling to help prevent tragedies before they actually occur.

Hilary is just another writer to explore a Superman character in her books. So boring.

Besides releasing her fiction novel this year, she’s set to write an advice book for children whose parents have split – using her own life experience to help kids deal with divorce.
