Although the most common things you hear in connection with cosmetic surgery and celebrities are stories of surgeries gone wrong, as Tara Reid and Michael Jackson or blatant denials, such as those emitted by people like Lindsey Lohan, who rarely seem to hear the celebrities going out to publicly endorse cosmetic surgery – or at least that was the case until recently. In the past year, several celebrities have talked about surgeries and procedures and admitted that, indeed, support industry, which many people know is responsible for the appearance of many of our favorite stars.

Among the stars who support cosmetic surgery are heartthrob George Clooney and James Bond, Daniel Craig. Both have had work done, with Clooney underwent eyelid surgery or blepharoplasty and Craig have work to repair a damaged joint. Both men credit for cosmetic surgeons with their appearance and seem to understand the role that full tummy in the lives of many.

Although many young actresses refuse or say cosmetic procedures never undergo cosmetic improvement, the singer Hilary Duff has admitted that he understands the need for such procedures and admits he will probably have the work done in the future if they feel they have to do so. While accepting that some celebrities go overboard with the surgeries, she feels that some procedures are necessary to maintain a youthful appearance.

At the opposite end of the age spectrum are women such as Sharon Osbourne and Vanessa Williams, both of whom admitted to cosmetic procedures. Osbourne has had multiple procedures and Williams has undergone Botox injections. Both women believe that cosmetic procedures have greatly improved their appearance and are adamant about their willingness to undergo procedures in future if necessary. Osbourne has lost its procedures, but notes that it will again in a second if it begins to sag, and Williams admits that Botox is a surgical procedure that leaves a large open its beautiful appearance.

It is refreshing to read about celebrities who are open and honest about cosmetic procedures. While many actresses and actors undergo cosmetic procedures, many of them to work as hard as possible to conceal the fact. Cosmetic surgery is nothing to be ashamed, and most people are aware of the fact that age, even celebrity. In an age when reality TV seems to be taking over the airwaves, it's nice to see some actors, actresses and singers would not matter right in their cosmetic surgery procedures.
