Celebrities who go too far with cosmetic surgery – Part 2

By on Tuesday, 9th February 2010

In this, the concluding part of what spurs a look at celebrities going too far with cosmetic surgery (and what may happen as a result) we will see another 2 examples.

A celebrity actually paid with his life due to a lifetime of pushing cosmetic surgery to the extreme. Lola Ferrari sprang to fame in the TV show "Eurotrash" and her encounter with fame and a possible case of body dysmorphic disorder left her with the need to undergo many different forms of plastic surgery in an attempt to achieve the perfect face and the body.

Lola underwent many procedures for changing the lips, cheeks, eyebrows, nose, forehead and stomach. It was for her breast enlargement procedure he hit the news even after achieving the world's largest breasts. Each breast weighed 6 pounds and Lola caused severe back problems and the effort put into his heart. Lola died in 2000 after suffering both physically and mentally for many years as a result of its improved surgical operations.

Pete Burns (former front man of Dead or Alive) suffered for 17 months and underwent a course of 100 corrective operations after a lip implant procedure went wrong. After a series of injections to achieve lips that are seen as natural left with a painful swelling, blisters, heavy flow and was unable to eat or drink.

It seems that in these cases that in a society obsessed with youth and looking perfect, it's easy for celebrities to understand that bit too far in a vein attempt to look better than the rest.

The moral of the story, it seems, is to make sure you are sure you want to go ahead with any cosmetic surgery procedure and to remember that the procedure will not change your life, but can help increase your confidence. If used to turn back the years in a careful, can be very effective, but must always ensure you use only the best surgeons to make sure they do not suffer disastrous consequences. Research in this area always worthwhile.
